Refund & Return Policy

At Big Bay Mart, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are processed.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • You received a defective or damaged product
  • You received the wrong item
  • The product has a manufacturing fault
  • The item is missing parts or accessories

To be eligible:

  • The return request must be made within 30 days of delivery
  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • The product must be in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase (order ID/invoice) is required

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Used or worn products
  • Items damaged due to misuse or mishandling
  • Products without original packaging
  • Clearance / final sale items
  • Perishable or consumable goods (if any)

3. Electronics & Gadgets – Special Conditions

For electronics products:

  • Items must be returned with all accessories, manuals, and the original box
  • Products showing physical damage, water damage, or burn marks are not eligible
  • Software issues or compatibility problems are not considered defects
  • Some products may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty instead of the store return policy

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

1. Email us at contact@bigbaymart.com

2. Provide:

  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos/videos (if damaged/defective)

3. Our support team will review and approve/reject the request

4. If approved, return instructions will be provided

Do not send items back without approval.

5. Replacement Policy

We offer a free replacement if:

  • The item is defective
  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The item arrived damaged

Replacement is subject to stock availability.
If unavailable, a refund will be issued.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued when:

  • Returned item passes inspection
  • Replacement is not available
  • The order was canceled before shipment

Refund Method

  • Original payment method refund, or
  • Store credit (if applicable)

Refund Processing Time

  • Inspection: 2–5 business days
  • Refund processing: 5–10 business days
    (Bank/payment gateway time may vary)

7. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged item) → We cover return shipping
  • If the return is due to customer preference → Customer pays return shipping

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.

8. Order Cancellation

Orders can be canceled:

  • Before shipment → Full refund
  • After shipment → Must follow the return process

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Payment issues
  • Suspicious activity

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account
  2. Contact your card provider/bank
  3. Wait processing time
